Breakfast with toucans, dive with dolphins.
If, on particularly beautiful days, you wake up in the morning to the sound of mating macaws, toucans and howler monkeys, then you will hear what you otherwise only see and smell: A piece of paradise.
Because the Equis II in southern Costa Rica on the Golfo Dulce borders directly on the Piedras Blancas National Park, in the largest continuous lowland rainforest in Middle America. Here, jungle tours and bird watching are an extraordinary experience not only for nature lovers. Nowhere else are there so many different plant and animal species.
River tours on the Rio Esquinas set off only a stone's throw away from your residence. Rare sea eagles, monkeys, alligators, tapirs, pumas and pelicans - here you can observe animals in their natural hunting ground which one otherwise only knows from zoos and television.
And after your trip into the animal kingdom, spend the evening unwinding. Beside the heated spring water pool, in the romantic tree-house or lying with a cocktail on one of the sun-warmed beaches.
The sporting possibilities in the Equis II are varied and require almost no preparation. Directly from your own beach, you can go waterskiing, glide over soft waves in a canoe, swim, snorkel and naturally also go diving. Professional diving equipment belongs to the equipment of the residence, and what is even better: The proprietor of the Equis is a trained diving instructor, and would love to introduce you to the fantastical, untouched diving grounds of Costa Rica.
Discover a foreign world under water, with enormous Brazilian grouper, dolphins and if Neptune is looking after you, even meet the enormous, but entirely innocuous whale sharks.
