History of the Equis

We don't make our experiences, our experiences make us.

As German proprietors of both Equis, and active in tourism for decades, we see ourselves as cosmopolitan. We have gathered the touristic treasures of this world in our many journeys, and have created something special out of them.

We have ourselves been able to experience, on all five continents, how one should entertain and spoil guests, how one conceptualises hotels and facilities so they harmoniously blend into the environment, and how one can offer a service that truly responds to the individual desires of guests.
And we have also been able to experience for ourselves the things that an hotelier shouldn't do. We have let this wealth of experience influence the conception of both Equis.

No wonder, then, that the Equis are the result of lingering memories, touristic inspirations and improvements on the most beautiful hotels in the world.
